Event: Auction of food, chickens, chicken coop and much more. Dishes cooked from Berlin eggs and the curators will be served for the public.
A chicken coop will be set up on the courtyard of Agora Collective in Berlin. The auction will serve as performative act to talk about serious environmental issues and banal everyday problems related to food, health and ecology. The chicken coop with golden roof suggests that eggs produced locally in the city are worth of gold.
Since 2009 it is confirmed that the number of people in cities is higher than the number of people living in the countryside. Growing food in cities is an important activity that can contribute to the present imbalanced relationship between the urban and the rural. In the last 60 years food was produced intensively on the countryside and transported into cities. Today residents are aware that producing food locally helps to shorten food distances and therefore contributes to urgent questions around environmental issues like pick oil, global warming and healthy food without chemicals. Through an expansion of urban agriculture in the city will benefit both the city and the countryside as entities, the greatest benefit will be to the actual people and to nature itself in both of these environments.

She creates group performances to harvest electricity and creates urban interventions which includes domestic animals. She presents her research in different environments through photo collages and video animations.
